At Disha – A Resource Centre for Special Education, we believe in unlocking the potential of every individual. Along with empowering learners, our mission is to train compassionate and skilled educators who share this vision and are committed to making a meaningful difference.

Our vision is to develop a self-reliant and technologically advanced resource centre dedicated to understanding and addressing intellectual and learning disabilities. We strive to create an environment where knowledge, innovation, and empathy come together to support inclusive education.

Through our programs, we aim to transform lives by preparing dedicated educators who can effectively teach and support students with diverse learning needs. We focus on building strong foundations in both theory and practical skills, ensuring that our trainees are well-equipped to handle real-world challenges.

Disha sets a benchmark for aspiring special education teachers by emphasizing personalized learning approaches tailored to each child’s unique abilities. We encourage inclusive practices that respect diversity and promote equal opportunities for all.

By nurturing sensitivity, enhancing skills, and fostering inclusivity, we aim to build brighter futures—not only for educators but also for the children they guide—creating a world where every child has the opportunity to grow, learn, and achieve their full potential.
